TOFU & aVOCADO SALAD

Ingredients (2 servings):

8 ounces silken tofu, 1 large avocado, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 scallion minced, handful of cilantro, salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Carefully slice tofu into 1/4” slices and placed on some paper towels to remove excess water
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, then peel and slice horizontally into 1/4” slices. Squeeze a little lemon juice over the avocado to prevent it from changing color
  3. Assemble the salad by alternating the avocado and tofu
  4. Whisk together SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE and sesame oil. Pour it over the salad right before serving. Top with scallion, cilantro, salt and pepper

SEARED SALMON SASHIMI

Ingredients (2 servings):

1 block (1/3 lb) of Scottish salmon (sashimi grade), 2 talbespoons of cooking oil, 1 lemon sliced, 1 onion sliced, 1 teaspoon SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Remove the skin from salmon block and remove excess juice with paper towel then liberally season salmon with salt and pepper
  2. Put oil in the pan and salmon then thoroughly coat salmon with oil
  3. Sear salmon with torch or in the pan (10 seconds on each side, it should be rare on the inside) then immerse it in the ice water to stop the cooking
  4. Remove excess water with paper towel and carefully slice salmon into thin slices with a sharp knife
  5. Whisk together SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE and lemon juice. Pour it over salmon right before serving. Top with sliced onion and lemon

STEAK AND VEGETABLES

Ingredients (2 servings):

your favorite kind of meat (filet mignon in the pic), any daily vegetables (kabocha, Japanese eggplant, asparagus, grape tomatoes in the pic), 1 teaspoon SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE, 1/2 tablespoon of wasabi paste, salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Grill your favorite meat and vegetables as what you do usually with simply salt and black pepper
  2. Carefully slice the steak into thin slices like sashimi
  3. Enjoy your steak and vegetables with putting a small amount of wasabi on each slice of meat and dip it in SADA SMOKED SOY SAUCE as you do with sashimi
